UC Physio opened our first clinic in Upper Coomera in September 2015 and our second Pimpama clinic in July 2020.  Our Upper Coomera clinic is located in the Coomera Grand Shopping district. We share the large parking facilities with Aldi, McNabs Butchers, Rapid Batteries, QuickStich and Haan Medical Centre. You can reach us on level one by walking beside Rapid Batteries, turn left and either take the stairs or the lift to level 1. Our Pimpama clinic is located in the pitstop area of the Pimpama City Centre. We are located between the Laundromat and Domino’s.

Our mission is to provide physiotherapy that “has the whole family covered” for the Northern Gold Coast community. We each have our special areas of interest and our skilled administrative team will ask you questions and suggest the most appropriate therapist for your needs.

UC Physio has been designed to have a relaxed, family feel to it and we hope that it will be the first choice for everyone in the family who needs physiotherapy. From the osteoporotic grandmother, father with lower back and shoulder problems, mother with head and neck pain, to the new born with talipes (club foot) – At UC Physio we have the whole family covered.

Stuart Stevenson
(Senior Physiotherapist and Director of UC Physio)

Stuart has been delivering excellent physiotherapy services on the Gold Coast for over 15 years. He is a former committee member of the Gold Coast Regional Group. He is a Member of the McKenzie Institute Australia and has lectured on the McKenzie (MDT) Method at Bond University and has assisted presenting with DMA Clinical Pilates. Stuart has a strong interest many aspects of physiotherapy. In particular he loves dealing with shoulders, spines and the influence of spinal problems and hypermobility on dysautonomia. Naomi Stevenson
(Senior Physiotherapist and Team Leader)

Naomi has more than 10 years experience working in children’s physiotherapy. She has a particular interest in neuromuscular conditions and developmental delay. Due to the complex nature of booking children please call to make a booking so we can ensure that we ask all the relevant questions.

Jordan Anderson
(Senior Physiotherapist)

Jordan has lived on the Northern Gold Coast for more than 15 years and is passionate about strength sports. Jordan has interest in spinal conditions, strength and conditioning and all aspects of Musculoskeletal and Sports Physiotherapy. Ethan Hanley
(Senior Physiotherapist)

Ethan has been treating in private practice since 2016 and has a special interest in treating musculoskeletal and sports related injuries. He has completed further professional development in sports injuries, muscle and tendon injuries, neck and shoulder physiotherapy and lower limb injury rehabilitation. Ethan believes educating his patients about their Injury and providing an appropriate exercise program is vital in assisting his patients to meet their rehabilitation goals. Ethan likes to establish criteria and goals for his patients to achieve to allow for transparency in what needs to be accomplished as they progress through their rehabilitation and return to their chosen sports, activities or work. Jessica Hartenthaler
(Senior Physiotherapist)

Jess has a wide variety of clinical experience and will be working between both our clinics and delivering some aquatic physiotherapy at the PImpama Sport’s Hub. She has experience in many varied musculoskeletal presentations and some neurological presentations (eg Parkinson’s Disease). She has a special interest in vertigo and balance conditions. As with all our aquatic physiotherapy bookings these need to be made through the clinic however in clinic bookings can be made online. Please take note of the location that you book. Grace Jacobs
(Senior Physiotherapist - Paediatrics)

Grace is well known to our physiotherapy staff having graduated with Ethan, Jess and Jordan. Grace is an experienced Physiotherapist with a special interest in paediatrics. Grace graduated in 2016 and moved out west for 5.5 years working in mixed private practice treating clients from 6 weeks old to 101 years old. Since returning to the Northern Gold Coast with her husband and 3 young daughters Grace has decided to focus her career on the 0-18 age group. She has completed further training in Dynamic Movement Intervention (DMI). Grace enjoys working with children and their families to achieve their goals, and brings lots of fun and energy to her sessions. Please take note of the location that you book as Grace will be working the majority of hours from Pimpama but will also spending some time at our Upper Coomera clinic. Due to the nature of paediatric cases please call the clinic to make appointments with Grace.

Emily Read
(Physiotherapist - Paediatrics)

Emily is a new addition to the UC Physio team having completed her degree in 2022. She has a special interest in paediatrics which has stemmed from her experience as a learn to swim instructor for infants through to primary school aged children. Emily's bright and bubbly personality will ensure that your child has fun each session whilst achieving their functional goals.

Daniel Morrison
(Senior Physiotherapist)

Dan is a new addition to the UC Physio team having completed his Masters Degree in 2016. Dan graduated with his Masters of Physiotherapy at Griffith University on the Gold Coast campus along with Jordan, Ethan, Jessica and Grace. He also holds a Bachelor of Exercise Science, which helped lay the foundations for his passion of strength training and its benefits for day to day living.

As a lover of all things barbell and sports, he has completed his Level 1 Weightlifting Coaching license, and ASCA Level 1.

Dan uses manual therapy, and exercise prescription to help deliver effective treatment for his clients. Dan is excited to learn more about treating in the disability space while maintaining his musculoskeletal skills. Dan has spent a few months travelling overseas and loves getting ideas for his next adventure if you have any places in mind he would love to visit them. Online bookings with Dan can be made here.
